Welcome to Jars and Bottles, one of the UK’s most comprehensive online ranges of glass jars, bottles & closures. Built on nearly two decades of glass packaging expertise, we understand that exceptional products require exceptional containers - ones that preserve quality and command attention.

Jars & Bottles is the e-commerce arm of Pattesons Glass, a long-standing UK glass packaging specialist founded in 2007.

  • Partner glassworks do the melting/forming; we don’t operate furnaces.

  • We stock and distribute from our UK warehouse (boxed to pallet).

For nearly two decades, Jars & Bottles has been the trusted e-commerce arm of Pattesons Glass, a leading UK packaging distributor. Our journey, which began in 2007, has been one of continuous growth and commitment to excellence.

Today, our scale extends far beyond the UK. Since 2022, we have been a proud member of the Packaging Alliance Europe (PAE), a partnership of well-regarded family businesses in the primary packaging industry across the continent. This alliance, with a combined traded turnover exceeding €200 million, allows us to offer an even broader product portfolio and leverage the collective buying power and expertise of a pan-European network. Winner: Glass Pack of the Year (Spirits) 2023 At the prestigious UK Packaging Awards, Pattesons Glass was named the winner of the "Glass Pack of the Year: Spirits" award. The winning project, a collaboration with BrewDog for their Duo Rum Bottle, was praised by British Glass for its design, with judges noting, "The bottle does a great job of showcasing the product whilst standing out on shelves in a crowded category." This award reaffirms our position as a market leader in developing bespoke glass packaging solutions.

Industry Shortlistings In addition to our victory, we were also a finalist for two other major accolades in 2023:

What we Stock

A deep range of glass jars, bottles, and closures from hex, orcio and pickle jars to beer, wine and spirits bottles, plus twist-off, lug, cork, pump and specialty closures. (Ask about UK-made options and bespoke decoration like screen printing and embossing.) 

Ordering that Fits Your Scale

  • Boxed orders – Economy delivery 3–5 working days; Next Working Day available (order cut-offs apply). Signature required.

  • Pallet & bulk – Palletised deliveries via hauliers; curb-side as standard. Check access/handling on site.

  • Remote areas – Additional carriage charges apply for specific postcodes (Highlands, Islands, etc.); our team will quote.

  • Collections – Book ahead; collections Mon–Thu 08:00–16:00, Fri to 13:30 (Humberston).
